SOLO, MettaNEWS – Persis releases the latest jersey to sail through Liga 1 2024/2025 on Tuesday (6/8) through social media channels.
In this release, Persis unveiled home and away jerseys for player version and goalkeeper version with the dominance of Persis’ colors, red and white.
Conceptually, this jersey is inspired by Persis’ iconic jersey design in the 1994 season, precisely when Laskar Sambernyawa’s leadership succeeded in becoming champions of Division II National at Sriwedari Stadium. Meanwhile, at the bottom left side, there is an embossed Persis logo that shows the authenticity of the product.
For the home jersey, it will use a diamond collar, dominated by red for players and black for goalkeepers.
On the jersey, there is also an elegant motif that takes the map of Surakarta City, where Persis was born and operates in the Nusantara football scene.
There is also a touch of stripes on the shoulders and pants, adding a retro impression in line with Persis’ jersey design in the 90s period.
As for the away player jersey design, it features a round neck collar, dominated by white with a pattern similar to the home jersey design but with a touch of red lines on some sides. For the goalkeeper jersey, Persis chose a lilac color with a touch of pink that gives a bright impression.
With the choice of colors and motifs for this jersey, Persis hopes to reconnect the club’s roots with the identity of Surakarta City.
There are also prayers and hopes, so that this design can revive the same spirit as three decades ago – motivating the team to achieve higher achievements this season.
